Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Samuel Geltman & Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of appliances, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as snow blowers and landscaping machinery.
  • Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance.
  • Perform general building maintenance functions, including cleaning and upkeep of common areas.
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with various tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to wear company-supplied uniform.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, ceramic, and tile floor repairs.
  • Ability to perform simple appliance and HVAC repairs.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in maintenance and repair work.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
