Role Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in implementing the Safety and Security Program of CFI, Inc. This is achieved through a fair and consistently cooperative approach with both uniformed personnel and management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding promptly to incidents related to Police, Fire, or Medical emergencies and acting within the defined duties of a Security Officer.
  • Managing access control points at designated areas.
  • Conducting safety inspections as per established policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of security activities, checklists, and logs.
  • Preparing detailed incident reports using computer skills and email.
  • Addressing basic service requests and performing preventive maintenance on electronic guest room security systems.
  • Carrying out traffic control and parking enforcement as necessary.
  • Responding to security-related complaints and taking appropriate action.
  • Assisting public safety officers in their duties as required.
  • Completing any other tasks assigned by management within corporate policy guidelines.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with team members and guests in a service-oriented manner.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license for operating company vehicles.
  • Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and verification of eligibility to work in the United States.
