Job Title: Water Safety Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a Water Safety Specialist to join our team at Westgate Resorts. As a Water Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests by preventing and responding to emergencies in and around our pools and water parks.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of guests by maintaining constant surveillance and monitoring of guests for the assigned pool or water park area.
  • Render emergency care and contact emergency medical services as necessary.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
  • Prepare and maintain activity reports.
  • Attend scheduled in-service training and follow all established safety procedures.
  • Assist team members with other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak effectively with guests and other team members.
  • Strong ability to recognize unsafe and hazardous situations and react properly.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
