Key Responsibilities- Provide support to the Store Manager with management-related duties, including opening and closing the store, and ensuring that store, merchandising, and customer service standards are continuously met.
- Lead and direct floor associates, providing coaching and training to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Drive the customer experience, ensuring resolution of customer issues and promoting a positive store environment.
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in a retail sales environment with increasing levels of responsibility and strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead/direct, coach and train others, and the ability to relate well using communication, interpersonal, diplomacy, and related skills.
- Ability to objectively assist with problems involving various customer service situations.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
- Supervisory/management experience in a retail sales environment or similar fast-paced, customer service environment.
- Furniture sales experience.
- MONTHLY STIPEND plus unlimited earnings through our generous commission-pay plan.
