Job Summary

The Retail Operations Supervisor is tasked with assisting the Store Manager in the daily management of store activities, which includes overseeing staff, engaging with customers, and implementing directives from upper management. This role is essential in driving performance by motivating and inspiring team members to optimize store profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in surpassing established sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's visual merchandising standards.
  • Organize product displays and merchandise layouts to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Train team members on effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
  • Maintain accurate inventory controls and assist with inventory assessments as directed by management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols within the store.
  • Assist the Store Manager in supervising staff in accordance with the Company's Employee Handbook and store procedures.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members to promote accountability.
  • Ensure all operational processes are executed effectively.
  • Communicate with the Store Manager regarding employee performance and store operations, offering insights and solutions.
  • Assist in organizing store events and promotional sales.
  • Act as a support to the Store Manager when necessary.
  • Contribute to office hours and undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
  • Support omni-channel sales and fulfillment initiatives.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb, walk, and stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and move equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Moderate noise levels in the work environment.
