Job Summary
The Retail Operations Supervisor is tasked with assisting the Store Manager in the daily management of store activities, which includes overseeing staff, engaging with customers, and implementing directives from upper management. This role is essential in driving performance by motivating and inspiring team members to optimize store profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in surpassing established sales targets and performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to the company's visual merchandising standards.
- Organize product displays and merchandise layouts to enhance sales opportunities.
- Train team members on effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
- Maintain accurate inventory controls and assist with inventory assessments as directed by management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols within the store.
- Assist the Store Manager in supervising staff in accordance with the Company's Employee Handbook and store procedures.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members to promote accountability.
- Ensure all operational processes are executed effectively.
- Communicate with the Store Manager regarding employee performance and store operations, offering insights and solutions.
- Assist in organizing store events and promotional sales.
- Act as a support to the Store Manager when necessary.
- Contribute to office hours and undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
- Support omni-channel sales and fulfillment initiatives.
- Adhere to the agreed-upon work schedule.
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Exceptional verbal communication abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities.
- Professional appearance and adherence to the store's dress code.
- Maintain a positive demeanor, high energy, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
