Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field investigations by collecting and analyzing water samples to ensure data accuracy from automated monitoring systems.
- Design and oversee the construction, installation, and maintenance of civil works related to hydrographic projects.
- Supervise the activities of well contractors, exploratory borers, and engineers, ensuring compliance with established regulations.
- Investigate public water supply challenges, including flood and drought risks, water quality issues, wastewater management, and the effects on wetland ecosystems.
- Install, maintain, and calibrate instruments that monitor water levels, rainfall, and sedimentation.
- Compile and assess hydrologic data to create navigational charts and maps, as well as to forecast atmospheric conditions.
