Job Summary

As a Hotel Property Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for verifying event planning and execution on-property, providing sales support for General Managers, and completing administrative duties. You will serve as the primary point of contact for guests organizing and attending meeting events at the property to ensure a smooth end-to-end experience. You will also act as the primary point of contact for the Group Sales Office and Area Sales teams. Additionally, you will collect, develop, and submit content to update property websites on Marriott.com. You will be responsible for administrative duties delegated by property General Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for guests organizing and attending meeting events
  • Act as primary point of contact for Group Sales Office and Area Sales teams
  • Collect, develop, and submit content to update property websites
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. You will be required to welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. You will also need to speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $22.70-$23.70, as well as health care benefits, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.
