Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain utility plant systems, including steam boilers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, and cooling towers
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including steam boilers, heat exchangers, and industrial air compressors
- Monitor and control system operations, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of plant systems
- 1+ year of experience as a Stationary Engineer or in a related field
- Ability to crawl inside boilers and equipment and lift tools
- Ability to tolerate and function in a hot environment for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to detect warning signals and equipment malfunctions, and to detect warning lights on alarms in a noisy environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- City of Los Angeles Unlimited Steam Engineers License
