Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain stationary engines, boilers, and other mechanical equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Associate's degree in a mechanical field, such as HVAC, welding, plumbing, biomechanical, or mechatronics.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Stationary Engineer in a power plant or central utility plant.
- Current City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer - Unlimited HP License or City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer - 500 HP License.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive as part of the job.
- California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
- 5 years of experience in a power plant or central utility plant, with hospital experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in biomechanical, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or other mechanical-related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Stationary Engineer in a power plant or central utility plant.
