Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Center Representative to join our team at UF Health. As a key member of our Patient Access Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and healthcare providers while handling high-volume incoming phone calls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and healthcare providers while handling phone calls.
  • Maintain up-to-date reference materials and stay current on administrative protocols.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in systems and administrative protocols, providing guidance and mentoring to new and existing team members.
  • Perform all Patient Access Center CSR duties, including data entry and reviewing patient demographic material.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare-related industry.
  • 2 years of experience in a call center environment, preferably in a healthcare-related industry.
  • Clerical/customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare-related industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic computer literacy and arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Operate multi-line automatic call distribution compatible telephone.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
