With over 100 locations and a team of more than 400 OB/GYNs and specialists, we offer a wide range of services including obstetrics, gynecology, oncology, urogynecology, pathology, breast surgery, genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine, lab services, and fertility treatments.
The Patient Access Representative serves as the vital first point of contact for patients visiting our clinics, underscoring the significance of outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities encompass collecting registration information from both new and returning patients, making this position dynamic and engaging. The work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, ensuring no weekend commitments.
- Welcome patients and visitors, providing necessary directions.
- Verify and update patient demographic information.
- Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing.
- Document information accurately in the electronic medical records system.
- Address non-medical patient inquiries through various communication channels.
- Embody the mission and values of Women's Care.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Execute additional assigned responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Preferred experience of at least 1 year in a medical or healthcare environment, with a background in OBGYN being advantageous.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology is essential.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems; experience with eCW is a plus.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
