About the Role

Datadog is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to support our growing global organization. This role will focus on partnering with leadership and the People team to drive strategic initiatives and support the specific needs of our Customer Success function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the global PBP team to partner with employees and leadership on people-related matters.
  • Advise, coach, and influence management on performance management, coaching, career pathing, employee relations, compensation, organizational development, training, culture, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with the Center of Excellence (COE) team to design programs that enhance the employee experience.
  • Provide analysis and consulting to leadership to drive data-driven people decisions and implementation of best practices.
  • Assess employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement solutions aligned with the organization's strategy.
  • Handle complex global employee relations issues, working with leadership to implement best practices.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as an HRBP or in a related HR role, preferably in fast-growing technology companies.
  • Ability to adapt approach and pivot skillset from strategic to granular day-to-day needs of a fast-paced business.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience with HRIS (Workday is a bonus).
  • Experience working across business functions with first-line and senior leadership.
  • Master project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to design clear processes.
  • Experience in employee relations and knowledge of global employment practices.
  • Clear, direct, and approachable communication style and strong customer service orientation.
