About the Role

You'll be an Enterprise Account Executive in one of the fastest-growing products in the DevSecOps market, working with top Application Security and Developer teams. As an astute ambassador for your customers, you'll tenaciously grow Semgrep's business. Along the way, you'll learn how to scale a sales organization and take a developer-centric security product to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with large Enterprise customers in various industries, covering the Pacific Northwest territory
  • Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close
  • Onboard and grow customers with additional products or increased Semgrep usage
  • Manage inbound leads with timely follow-up and diligent opportunity qualification
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly goals through outbound phone calls, emails, product demos, and trials (Proof of Concepts)
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting and execute a territory plan
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Product Management to ensure smooth launches and fuel future product growth
Requirements
  • A proven track record of successfully selling security solutions to CISOs and senior security executives in the Pacific Northwest region
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and product demo skills
  • A deep understanding of customer pain-points and issues they're trying to resolve with code security, and knowledge of how Semgrep can help
  • A mantra of always-be-prospecting, with a passion for staying up-to-date on the rapidly changing world of DevSecOps and AppSec
  • Tenacious and resilient, with the ability to build a strong pipeline, advance deals, and work the organization chart
