Job Summary:

MAP TO HEALTH LLC is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to support clients with behavioral and emotional issues in our PHP & IOP in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish open lines of communication and build rapport with clients experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges.
Ensure compliance with house rules and support clients in following these guidelines.
Complete all steps of client intakes, including drug testing, searching client belongings, and conducting comprehensive intakes using KIPU.
Facilitate the discharge process by returning personal belongings to clients and ensuring discharge paperwork is signed in KIPU.
Perform waived drug testing on incoming intakes and conduct random urinalysis on clients as needed.
Conduct Q15 safety checks to ensure the well-being of all clients.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring property is well-kept at all times.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
Knowledge of drug testing procedures and behavioral health protocols.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting individuals in recovery.
