Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our diverse patient population.

About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality patient care to an assigned group of patients, working within the nursing process to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
  • Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities of new personnel.
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in New Mexico or eligibility for reciprocal agreement.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification within 30 days.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
