Job Summary

UNM Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Registered Nurse to join our team in the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional care to patients with various cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medication and treatment, provide emotional support, and advocate for patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and facilitate group therapy and education sessions.
  • Document patient progress, collect and analyze data, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in New Mexico or eligibility for reciprocal agreement.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days.
  • 1 year of direct experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish language proficiency.
