MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I
Actively Hiring – Immediate Openings

Hours:
Full-time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in ensuring that production, HVAC, facility equipment, and infrastructure are maintained in optimal condition.
Identify and rectify issues before they impact machinery or product quality.
Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to log and communicate maintenance activities.
Effectively operate machinery as required.
Work a flexible schedule, including overtime, based on production needs.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Adhere to and promote Health, Safety, and Quality policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform additional duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS FOR SQF CERTIFIED SITES:

Possess a foundational understanding of cGMPs and Good Hygiene Practices.
Notify the SQF Practitioner or Supervisor of necessary repairs or adjustments.
Conduct basic sanitation tasks.

Fulfill all duties required to meet Company and Regulatory standards as prioritized by the Company, HACCP, and SQF.

Report any Food Safety or Quality concerns to the SQF Practitioner/Quality Manager or relevant Management personnel.

Identify issues related to Food Safety and Quality concerning raw materials, processes, quality systems, or safety systems through assigned Production/Quality Checks.

Take initiative to prevent nonconformities related to Food Safety and Quality in products, processes, quality systems, or safety systems.

Execute and adhere to the HOLD Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Control the processing or delivery of nonconforming products concerning Food Safety and Quality until deficiencies are resolved.

Comply with all Food Fraud/Food Defense Policies while on company premises.
Thoroughly understand all Company policies, including GMPs and safety protocols, HACCP, and SQF.

SAFETY AND CLEANLINESS:

Follow safety protocols.
Maintain a tidy and safe work area and report any unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
Wear company-issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as uniforms, gloves, and hairnets.

Are You?

A High School or Vo-Tech School graduate or equivalent.
Proficient in basic computer skills – able to quickly learn and efficiently utilize new systems.
Reliable with a strong attendance record.
Capable of safely operating and using standard shop equipment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of and/or previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

CERTIFICATION:
Technical certification in maintenance or progress towards a mechanic, electrical, or related discipline.
