We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist to join our team at CG Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform repairs on industrial equipment, including sewing, quilting, and packing machines.
- Collaborate with machine manufacturers to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize equipment performance.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including electrical safety and forklift operations.
- Develop and execute a yearly facilities maintenance plan to ensure the overall condition of our facilities.
- Oversee new equipment installation and ensure seamless integration into our operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on sewing, quilting, and packing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, electrical and ladder logic schematics, and welding techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently and work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
