Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including sewing, quilting, and packing machines, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Equipment Management: Maintain accurate records of machine downtime, uptime, and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) for all operations equipment.
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure efficient production.
- Facilities Management: Ensure the security and maintenance of our facilities, including air conditioning systems, offices, and common areas.
- Project Management: Develop and execute a yearly facilities maintenance plan to ensure the upkeep of our facilities and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of spare parts and equipment inventory to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
- Collaboration: Establish and maintain relationships with machine manufacturers to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure optimal equipment performance.
Requirements:
- Technical Knowledge: Possess working knowledge of electrical systems, electrical and ladder logic schematics, and hands-on experience in welding.
- Operational Experience: Have experience working with industrial equipment, including sewing, quilting, and packing machines, and forklifts.
- Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, including bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate critical thinking skills and a desire to learn and adapt to new situations.
