We are seeking a skilled Air Compressor Field Service Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance. Key responsibilities include performing routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing air compressors, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining air compressor systems, including start-up, preventive, and corrective maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and repairing components and brands of air compressors
  • Utilizing multimeters, amp meters, vibration, and infrared meters, and megger for diagnostic purposes
  • Reading and comprehending blueprints, P&I drawings, ID/GA drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes, cleaning, and setting controls
  • Safely removing and reinstalling motors, compressors, and associated components using rigging equipment

The selected candidate will have an excellent driving record and be able to drive a service van or pickup truck. A valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent are also required. Additionally, the candidate should have verifiable air compressor repair experience and be self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of electrical/mechanical industrial experience
  • Knowledge of customer equipment operations and ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent

$65,000 - $85,000 per year
