Artillery Mechanic

As an Artillery Mechanic in the U.S. Army, you will be responsible for supervising and performing maintenance and recovery operations on self-propelled field artillery cannon weapon systems. This includes automotive, turret, fire control, and chemical protection subsystems. You will learn to check the hydraulics system, maintain and repair power drive, weapons systems, and computers. Additionally, you will learn to identify, use, and maintain a wide range of tools.
Requirements- A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
- 17 to 34 Years Old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Meet Tattoo Guidelines
- No Major Law Violations
- No Medical Concerns
- 104 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available
- 10 weeks of Basic Training
- 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
- 99 ASVAB Score: Mechanical Maintenance (MM)
