Job Title: 3R Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3R Field Service Technician to join our team at Shred-Tech. As a 3R Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing 3R machinery, shredding systems, and associated equipment at customer locations as scheduled by the Aftermarket Product Specialist or designate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, and repair 3R machinery, shredding systems, and associated equipment at customer locations as scheduled.
  • Develop existing clients and help solicit new clients in your assigned region or area in support of your manager.
  • Complete all necessary documentation supporting the service visit and submit a copy of the Service Report to the customer and your reporting office.
  • Report any and all timesheets and expense sheets to your manager in a timely manner.
  • Be responsible for all tools and equipment assigned to you, including but not limited to: Service Vehicle, Service Tools, Stock, Laptop Computer, Cell Phone, and Supporting Office Supplies as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge with blueprints, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Welding and rigging of heavy equipment.
  • Familiar with the use of measuring tools and safe operation of hand tools, including grinders, drills, mechanical saws, sanders, buffers, etc.
  • Capable of fitting and assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Capable of receiving job-specific training and training new employees.
  • Follow and adhere to Shred-Tech's quality systems procedures and work instructions.
  • Know, understand, and follow safe working and material handling practices.
