Job Summary:

Evaluate and apply advanced mechanical engineering techniques to design, construct, renovate, and maintain projects. Balance engineering design and field implementation, responsible for the product lifecycle from design to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, design, and installation of engineering-based projects, including new equipment design and refurbishment of existing equipment.
  • Develop and implement complex manufacturing equipment, overseeing organization, scheduling, cost control, and implementation.
  • Provide operational field support, including technical troubleshooting, equipment modifications, and installation.
  • Manage contractors and technicians for work within NOV Tuboscope facilities.
  • Review and modify design drawings for regulatory compliance.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, and Siemens NX for engineering design projects.
  • Create and modify equipment drawings using Team Center.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with NOV Tuboscope vendors.

  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems and welding practices.
  • 2-5 years of professional engineering experience in Mechanical Engineering & Equipment Design.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering with solid R&D Mechanical Designs.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, and SolidWorks.
  • Low travel requirements (below 25%).
