Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative II to join our Audiology team at Sutter Health. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets and checks-in patients, verifies information, and schedules appointments
  • Updates Electronic Health Records (EHR) and facilitates intake procedures
  • Collects payments for services and ensures accurate billing
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gain confidence and cooperation
  • Adheres to organizational, local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety
Requirements
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, as well as patient billing
  • Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
