We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative II to join our Audiology team at Sutter Health. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Greets and checks-in patients, verifies information, and schedules appointments
- Updates Electronic Health Records (EHR) and facilitates intake procedures
- Collects payments for services and ensures accurate billing
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gain confidence and cooperation
- Adheres to organizational, local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
- High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience
- 1 year of recent relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, as well as patient billing
- Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Competitive pay range: $29.46 to $36.81 per hour
