Audiology Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Audiology Assistant to join our team at the Los Angeles Center for Ear Nose Throat and Allergy. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our audiology clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the clinic schedule, ensuring seamless coordination of patient appointments and testing protocols.
- Become proficient in testing equipment and protocols, providing accurate and efficient results.
- Oversee the inventory of audiology supplies, including hearing aids, chargers, and domes/ear tips, and restock as needed.
- Sanitize the sound booth, chairs, and audio equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Input stock hearing aids/chargers into our audiology software, Counselear.
- Assist with vestibular testing and other audiological evaluations, including tympanometry, reflexes, and OAEs.
- Prepare for fittings by charging hearing aids, chargers, and receivers, and assembling new equipment as needed.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including registering patients, taking vital signs, and preparing them for appointments.
- Collaborate with our ENT team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as charting notes, filing claims, and scheduling appointments.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Audiology specialty clinic experience preferred.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
- General knowledge of HIPAA and CPT codes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a relatively unsupervised environment with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to operate various office equipment necessary to perform job functions.
- Team player with a pleasant attitude towards the practice of medicine.
- Sit and stand for long periods at a time.
- Use hands and fingers in repetitive motions daily.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs periodically.
$17-$19/hr
