Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at PM2CM, Inc. As a key member of our professional services company, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality project management, construction management, and project controls services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Review and Management: Review and enforce construction and professional services contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Project Oversight: Manage and direct contractors and outside consultants, including reviewing and approving invoices, to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess project risks and develop risk registers, including mitigation strategies, to minimize potential threats to project success.
  • Issue Resolution: Facilitate resolutions of construction and design issues, working closely with architects and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate responses to requests for information and submittals.
  • Meeting Coordination: Generate and distribute meeting minutes, including construction meetings and design meetings, to ensure effective communication and project progress tracking.
  • Record Keeping: Confirm contractor's maintenance of record drawings prior to monthly progress payments to the Contractor, and maintain project files in both electronic and paper format.
  • Quality Control: Review submittals for conformance to plans and specifications, ensuring that all work meets company standards and industry requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of recent professional experience in a similar or equivalent position involved in project or construction management.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and make sound decisions. Experience with installation of IT, networking, access control, and/or audio visual systems is a plus.
