Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at American Honda Motor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and assurance, with experience in managing sampling regulations and quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of procedures and documents for sampling technicians
  • Identify necessary updates from drawings and specifications, and opportunities for process improvements
  • Manage and support direct reports to ensure targets are met on time within the group
  • Create and update databases to track data based on current business needs, direct report feedback, and continuous improvement activity
  • Summarize sampling activity status and present information to management to declare event readiness/completion
  • Coordinate root cause investigation and containment for triggered problem items
  • Lead Internal/External audit activity and relevant meetings from sampling viewpoint to represent team in a professional manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Associate/Technical degree in automotive or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in Technical role based on education
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to extract drawing/specification information
  • Communication skills for presenting and ability to train new associates
  • Knowledge of manufacturing environment and processes
