Job Summary

Landoll Corporation is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Marysville, Kansas. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating metal fabricating machines to cut, bend, form, and drill holes in raw materials. You will also be responsible for reading blueprints, completing shop math, and demonstrating a basic knowledge of fabrication processes and machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate metal fabricating machines, such as shears, saws, drill presses, and presses to cut, bend, form, and drill holes in raw materials.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and specifications to understand production requirements.
  • Shop Math: Complete simple shop math to calculate material requirements and production schedules.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to corporate safety policies and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality work by preventing quality problems and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Attend work regularly and be punctual to meet production schedules.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and machines, ability to read blueprints and shop math, and strong attention to detail.
