Job Summary

University Physicians Association, Inc. is seeking a full-time Office Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a busy physician's office in Sevier County, TN.

Responsibilities

* Direct, supervise, and coordinate staff and activities to provide quality, cost-effective care
* Ensure efficient clinic flow and manage weekly payroll and staff schedules
* Establish and implement office policies in accordance with established physician office and hospital standards
* Provide initial employee training, mandatory yearly training, and monitor job performance, including annual performance reviews
* Review and monitor office financial performance, including physician CME, reimbursements, and operating costs
* Collaborate with the Coder, Administrator, and Central Billing Office to ensure accurate reimbursement
* Coordinate activities with the billing office to include demographics and insurance, patient balances, and overdue accounts
* Ensure proper resolution of customer satisfaction issues related to clinic sites
* Serve as a liaison between practice providers and office employees, as well as between practice and outside vendors/hospital
* Review and implement processes that align with quality measures and department goals
* Facilitate credentialing information as needed

Requirements

* Minimum of three (3) years of physician office supervision in a healthcare organization
