Job Overview

Position: Industrial Mechanic - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Role Summary:

The Industrial Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical systems. This position involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on various mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, and production machinery.
  • Identify and diagnose mechanical issues by observing equipment in operation and utilizing precision measuring instruments.
  • Dismantle and repair defective components using hand tools, power tools, and hoisting equipment.
  • Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Implement Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems up to 480 VAC.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Experience in assembling, installing, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints for repair and renovation tasks.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools is essential.

Work Schedule:

  • Typical Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
