Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled Echo Cardiographer to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As an integral part of the Cardiopulmonary team, you will be responsible for performing accurate and coordinated procedures in the Echocardiology Department, including Echocardiograms, vascular work, transesophageal echo, pacemaker analysis, and exercise echo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease.
  • Have a working knowledge of stress testing and its relation to the Echocardiology department.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) activities.
  • Assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing.

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification.
