We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer PRN to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a Cardiac Sonographer PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Cardiology Department.

About the Role

The Cardiac Sonographer PRN will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, ultrasound examinations, and other diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. You will work closely with our team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases
  • Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care
  • Transport patients to and from the department for testing as needed
  • Assist in performing other duties in the Diagnostic Cardiology Department, such as EKGs, Holter Monitoring, and Stress Testing
  • Keep accurate records for cleaning and maintaining equipment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular sonography
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer
