Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in echocardiography and cardiovascular medicine.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
