Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Echo Cardiographer to join our team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our Cardiopulmonary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Perform accurate and coordinated procedures in the Echocardiology Department, including Echocardiograms, vascular work, transesophageal echo, pacemaker analysis, and exercise echo.
- Conduct two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for the diagnosis of cardiac disease.
- Develop a working knowledge of stress testing and its application in the Echocardiology department, including exercise stress and pharmacological stress.
- Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) activities.
- Assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification.
