Role Overview:

As a Senior Banking Associate, you will be responsible for processing client transactions with precision and efficiency, adhering to established policies and procedures. You will also refer clients to appropriate Bank products and specialists when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing while delivering an exceptional client experience and representing the Bank professionally.
  • Support clients in reaching their financial objectives by actively promoting Bank products and services, and directing clients to other specialists as needed. Take a leadership role in sales, operations, and client service.
  • Assist in branch operations and contribute to the training, mentoring, and coaching of the teller team.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member on all assignments, ensuring quality work is completed within deadlines, with or without direct supervision.
  • Maintain a high level of personal reliability and punctuality.
  • Engage in selling Bank products and services through in-person and telephone interactions, meeting minimum referral standards set by management. May involve opening new accounts following the established sales process.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, security protocols, and government regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
  • A minimum of 4 years of teller experience, including sales experience with established goals, is required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in PC applications and calculators.
  • Fundamental math, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; proper phone and email etiquette are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Ability to work during branch hours.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting compensation range is based on location and experience.
  • Incentive and commission compensation may be available for eligible roles.
