About the Role

American Waterworks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radon Mitigation Construction Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our radon mitigation construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure successful project execution.
    • Train and mentor team members on installation methods, tools, and equipment.
    • Ensure the safety of yourself and your team at all times.
    • Motivate and recognize team members for their contributions.
  • Installation and Quality Control
    • Review job specifications to ensure all necessary materials and equipment are on hand.
    • Assess job site conditions and make adjustments as needed.
    • Perform high-quality installations to ensure timely completion.
    • Collect payment and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Customer Experience
    • Communicate with customers throughout the project using our customer messaging system.
    • Notify customers of any changes to the project before making adjustments.
    • Leave customer homes clean and in better condition than found.
    • Provide a remarkable customer experience.
Requirements
  • PREFERRED: Licensed by the state of Minnesota to install mitigation systems and test for residential radon.
  • Knowledge of construction or related trades required.
  • Ability and skill in operating equipment and/or power tools required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred and 1+ years of experience in the construction trades OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to move about and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces.
  • A valid driver's license.
