Job Title: Patient Service Representative - LifeVest Trainer

**Job Summary:**

ZOLL LifeVest is seeking a Patient Service Representative to train patients on the use of the LifeVest wearable defibrillator. As an independent contract worker, you will work with patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest, providing them with the necessary education and support to use the LifeVest effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Management: Manage equipment and garment inventory to ensure timely delivery to patients.
  • Patient Scheduling: Contact caregivers and family members to schedule fittings and follow-up visits.
  • Travel and Availability: Be available to conduct evening and weekend activities, and willing to travel to patients' homes for fittings or follow-up visits.
  • Program Setup: Program equipment according to the prescribing physician's orders.
  • Patient Training: Train patients and other caregivers in the use of the LifeVest.
  • Documentation: Have patients sign a Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist, and fax the signed copy to ZOLL within 24 hours of the assignment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of patient care experience, with a focus on professional patient care (not family caregiver).
  • Documentation: Patient experience must be documented on your resume.
  • Background Check: Be willing to undergo a background check.
  • Screening: Florida and Ohio candidates must complete a level 2 screening, with fees not paid by ZOLL.
  • Personal NPI Number: Disclose your personal NPI number (if applicable).
  • Driver's License and Insurance: Have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
  • Additional Training: Be willing to pay for additional training and vendor credentials (i.e. DME/RepTrax), with fees not paid by ZOLL.
