Sutter Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative II to join our team. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and service, ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families.
- Verify patient information, schedule appointments, and update Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
- Facilitate intake procedures, including completion of healthcare and insurance forms, and collect payments for services.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Adhere to all organizational, local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety.
- Perform specific tasks and/or orient other staff to the department as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
- 1 year of recent relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, as well as patient billing.
- Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- A competitive hourly rate of $29.46 to $36.81.
