About the Customer Engagement Specialist Role:


In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction for Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests while creating an exceptional experience.


Daily responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming members and guests
  • Fostering a positive environment
  • Addressing member inquiries
  • Handling phone calls
  • Managing membership processes
  • Conducting calls and tours for prospective members
  • Processing retail transactions
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities
  • Maintaining cleanliness in club areas
  • Quickly addressing maintenance issues

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Enthusiasm for fitness and wellness
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Strong listening skills
  • Exhibits diplomacy
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Physical Demands:

  • Regular standing and walking
  • Frequent communication
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals
