Position Overview
Are you dedicated to making a difference in the lives of youth and their families? Youth Outreach Services is seeking empathetic and committed individuals in the greater Chicagoland area who are eager to empower families through sustainable, strength-based behavioral change. Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) is tailored to assist youth aged 12-17 and their caregivers in addressing serious behavioral challenges such as aggression, academic difficulties, delinquency, and problematic sexual behavior (with additional training). Therapists will conduct intensive family therapy sessions (2-3 times per week) in various settings including clients' homes, schools, or community venues. This program caters to the entire Cook County area, with therapists managing small caseloads (4-6 families) to ensure adequate attention to each family's unique needs.
MST employs evidence-based treatment strategies and emphasizes the individuality of each client and family. You will support families in tackling challenging behaviors and facilitating transformative life changes. Progress is achieved through intensive interventions that include skill development, modifying negative family dynamics, and enhancing social support networks. Therapists also collaborate with external stakeholders such as educators, child welfare services, and juvenile justice systems to ensure comprehensive service continuity.
Position Opportunities:
- Comprehensive training in the MST model and supplemental sexual behavior interventions
- Regular consultations with MST expert consultants on case-related matters

- Constructive feedback and professional development plans from MST consulting experts
- Ongoing booster training sessions on a quarterly basis
- Excellent opportunity for emerging clinicians to enhance their clinical expertise
