Rental Service Support Analyst Job Description

Wagner Equipment Co. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Rental Service Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Rental Fleet Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our rental fleets, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track, report, and schedule vendor and repair services for rental fleets.
  • Pull rental fleet M&R reports and coordinate corrections to mistaken charges on accounts.
  • Analyze, report, order, and coordinate the purchase, operation of rental fleet telematics.
  • Coordinate and track vendor repairs and invoicing with branches.
  • Coordinate service meetings to analyze, track, and report fleet repair status.
  • Identify and coordinate fleet transfers to optimize shop throughput and fleet availability.
  • Assist with coordinating and tracking repair approvals and monitoring thresholds.
  • Open, track, and input data into work orders.
  • Maintain records, logs, and files.
  • Create and review reports as required.
  • Create and process purchase orders as required.
  • Prepare and enter orders, receiving and invoicing as required.
  • Open, track, and input data to work orders.
  • Review work in progress reports to assure jobs are open no longer than needed.
  • Provide general clerical and staff support for Rental Fleet Management as required.
  • Provide back-up for various inventory control procedures.
  • Provide back-up support for other rental and service department functions.
  • Receive calls from internal and external customers, obtaining all pertinent information needed to assist.
  • Interface with and assist other employees to assure jobs are performed timely and effective.
  • Interact with vendors to ensure accurate and timely information is communicated and documented.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 1-3 years customer service experience
  • 3-5 years administrative/clerical experience
  • 1-3 years technical/mechanical experience
