About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at UNC Lenoir Health Care. As a Cardiopulmonary Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, utilizing your expertise to diagnose and treat respiratory conditions.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $26.72 - $32.07 per hour (Minimum to Midpoint), with pay offers determined by experience and internal equity.

Job Responsibilities

This is a part-time opportunity with 24.00 standard hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
  • Conducting routine patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Certificate of completion from an American Medical Association Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, holding CRT certification and licensure by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care.
  • RRT credentialed therapists required to maintain their designation.
  • One year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
