Medical Care Specialist

UNC Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Employee Health. This per diem position offers flexibility and variety, working with diverse patients and healthcare professionals.
This role involves providing safe and competent nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will support and assist the RN in delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Creativity and problem-solving skills are also essential in this role, as you will be expected to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct patient care services, prioritizing the needs of patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Support and assist the Registered Nurse in delivering high-quality patient care.
Your Qualifications:
- A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Carolina.
- BCLS Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
