Cancer Care Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at McCreary Rad Oncology in Lenoir, NC.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing compassionate care to oncology patients.
About the Role:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician's instructions and patient treatment plans.
- Assist physicians, radiation oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to prepare physical and technical aspects of radiation treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient and billing records, reports, and files.
- Perform routine and complex radiation therapy treatments, including total body irradiation, stereotactic radiosurgery, and low and high brachytherapy.
- Provide on-the-job clinical instruction and evaluation for student radiation therapists.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a Radiation Therapy Technologist program approved by CAHEA.
- Radiation Therapy certification by ARRT or Board Eligible (must receive certification within one year of hire).
- No prior experience required.
Compensation: $34.65 - $49.81 per hour (Hiring Range), with pay offers determined by experience and internal equity.
