Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Specialist to join our team at McCreary Rad Oncology. In this role, you will administer radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiation therapy in accordance with physician instructions and patient treatment plans
  • Enter data into computer systems and adjust equipment settings as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including radiation dosages and equipment settings
  • Perform routine and complex radiation therapy treatments, such as total body irradiation and stereotactic radiosurgery
  • Prevent and mitigate hazards to patients, staff, and others by following established safety protocols
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Radiation Therapy Technologist program approved by CAHEA
  • Radiation Therapy certification by ARRT or Board Eligibility (with certification within one year of hire)
