Job Overview

About the Role
The LPN is accountable for maintaining the highest standards of care, working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as you will interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include providing direct patient care services, collaborating with registered nurses, and ensuring that all interactions with customers are friendly, helpful, and courteous. A successful candidate will have good problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must have a current licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Carolina, along with BCLS certification. Additionally, a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Successful candidates will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.

Work Environment
This position involves exposure to blood-borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, and other infectious diseases requiring the use of protective equipment. You may also be exposed to conditions such as noxious odors, fumes, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, walking, and lifting patients; some carrying, pushing, pulling, and lifting objects involved in day-to-day activities.
