Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead and deliver high-impact projects across a global organization. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage complex initiatives with minimal guidance. The role requires a deep understanding of project management best practices, stakeholder engagement, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Communication & Status Reporting:

    Develop and deliver tailored status reports for various stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team, project teams, immediate project leadership, and the business user community. Ensure timely, accurate updates and clear communication across all levels.
  • Validation and GxP Projects:

    Demonstrate strong knowledge of validation activities and experience in managing GxP-compliant projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards in highly regulated environments.
  • JIRA Management:

    Utilize JIRA for tracking project progress, managing tasks, and supporting Agile execution. Ensure teams are aligned with sprint goals and backlogs are properly prioritized and updated.
  • Agile Execution & Sprint Ceremonies:

    Lead Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Drive Agile best practices to ensure smooth execution of sprints and deliverables.
  • Individual Contributor with PMO Best Practices:

    Serve as a key individual contributor who can work independently, applying PMO best practices to optimize project outcomes. Provide recommendations to enhance project governance and execution.
  • ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) Tools:

    Leverage ALM tools to manage the lifecycle of software applications and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Risk & Issue Management:

    Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues. Develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure project continuity.
  • Offshore Team Collaboration:

    Effectively coordinate and manage project tasks with offshore teams, ensuring alignment across time zones and cultures.
  • Vendor Team Management:

    Manage multiple vendor teams located across the globe. Ensure consistent communication, deliverable alignment, and performance tracking to meet project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management within an Agile environment.
  • Expertise in using JIRA and ALM tools.
  • Strong understanding of validation and GxP compliance.
  • Experience working with offshore teams and managing globally distributed vendor teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
