Salesforce Project Manager

Join Saxon Global as a Salesforce Project Manager and take on the challenge of managing complex IT projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Salesforce solutions, coordinating with business, technical, and vendor stakeholders, and driving project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, scope statements, and operational checklists.
  • Develop project work plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage program scope, schedule, budget, and resources to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate technical support, including architectural reviews, compliance reviews, and project artifacts.
  • Manage project issues and risks to prevent potential barriers to project success.
  • Coordinate with vendors and other agencies to manage meetings, collect feedback, and track action items.
  • Develop and validate test plans, drive image testing and acceptance processes, and ensure team members have access to necessary systems.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional IT projects.
  • Experience managing software products and/or leading product development.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing contract management and vendor interaction in delivering large-scale products or web services.
  • Knowledge of implementing Salesforce and/or driving large Salesforce deployments is a significant advantage.
  • Masters-level knowledge of Microsoft's entire productivity suite, including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and release management methodologies.
  • Strong issue and problem management skills, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership with strong organizational and customer service skills, with attention to detail and process redesign experience highly desired.
  • Prior project management experience of large public sector IT projects, with understanding of government practices, policies, and budgeting is a major plus.
  • Working knowledge of project management concepts as defined by PMI.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and ITIL concepts, Theory of Constraints a plus.
  • Familiarity with organizational change management, including end-user training.
  • Proven ability in both waterfall and agile technology delivery methods, with understanding of Agile milestones and ability to facilitate all aspects of the agile and/or waterfall methods of product management.
  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive progress.
  • Ability to handle multiple, concurrent priorities with little or no direction, and meet established timelines.
