Job Title: Consultative Technical Sales Account Manager

At Tenergy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultative Technical Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business by defining customer product requirements, developing battery and charger solutions, and conducting business negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business by defining customer product requirements and developing battery and charger solutions.
  • Conduct business negotiations and integrate project requirements with business operations.
  • Interface with internal product management, manufacturing, and technical teams to coordinate design and fabrication of prototype specialty batteries and customized battery and charging systems.
  • Utilize knowledge of battery industry and applications to develop product proposals, specifications, labels, and shipping requirements.
  • Ensure timely project completion and sales margin.
  • Perform all duties of a sales position, including order processing, trade show activity, customer visits, and customer satisfaction efforts.
  • Manage sales projects to ensure timely delivery of solutions and products.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3+ years of sales experience in the electronic industry, preferably in related areas of industrial product sales with the ability to cold call on potential customers.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Knowledge of electronic, batteries, chargers, and protection circuit board or energy storage systems technology is a plus, but not required.
  • Attention to detail, willingness to take ownership and responsibility for results, and demonstrated flexibility.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent proposal presentation, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:

This is a full-time position with medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits, 401K benefits with company match, PTO, and holiday pay. Salary $60,000-$80,000 annually.
