As a Membership & Sales Specialist, your primary goal will be to deliver outstanding service experiences to both first-time visitors and existing members. This role also encompasses revenue generation and membership sales. Team members are expected to have a comprehensive understanding of FitLab's value proposition, membership options, operational procedures, and the onboarding process for new visitors. Adherence to performance, activity, and behavioral standards as outlined in the FitLab Handbook and Ops Training Manual is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate the sale of memberships and promotional offers while effectively qualifying leads and identifying client needs.
  • Oversee general studio operations and management during your shift.
  • Create a warm and inviting atmosphere, focusing on customer engagement and hospitality.
  • Proactively manage sales leads at various stages of the sales funnel, including client communication via text and email, as well as class bookings.
  • Ensure accurate check-in for classes, adhering to company policies regarding cancellations, waitlists, and partnerships.
  • Educate first-time visitors about class offerings and participation requirements.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and campaigns, effectively communicating their features and benefits to enhance member knowledge.
  • Execute daily operational tasks, including answering phones, managing voicemails, greeting guests, processing member enrollments, handling laundry, managing locker issues, maintaining a tidy reception area, restocking supplies, managing inventory, processing payments, and capturing member photos.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred experience of 1+ years in membership sales, though not mandatory.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 4-5 shifts per week.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, special events, early mornings, late evenings, and holidays as required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to resolve complaints effectively.
  • A background check will be conducted for all final candidates upon acceptance of the offer.
